How booking works

The trip builder produces a plan and a planning estimate. Sending it creates an enquiry with a reference, not a reservation. A booking exists only once you have accepted a written quote naming your hotels, room types, vehicle, inclusions and cancellation terms.

This website does not take payments.

How prices are built

Every estimate is the sum of five lines: rooms per night, a private car and driver per day, the experiences you tick, any meals beyond breakfast, and a 10% allowance for tax and service. Children are counted at 60% for experiences and meals.

The rates behind those lines are examples. Your quote replaces them with contracted rates for your dates, including seasonal supplements and each hotel’s child and occupancy rules.

International flights, visas, travel insurance, tips and personal spending are never included.

Routes and drive times

The map draws your route along real roads, and distances are road distances from OpenStreetMap routing. Drive times are typical figures scaled for Sri Lankan roads; real journeys vary with traffic, weather and the hill country.

We check every leg before quoting and will suggest an extra stop if a drive is too long. Safaris depend on park access and conditions, and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

Your enquiry details

When you send a route we store your name, email, optional phone number, travel dates, party size, children’s ages and the plan itself, to answer your enquiry. Your plan is also saved in your own browser so you can return to it; clearing site data removes it.

Please don’t send passport copies or card details through the notes field. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
